Okay, who's hungry? Me! Me! Me! One Happy Fun Meal for Zoe, and one Li'l Folks Combo for Hammie! What's wrong? I thought you guys were hungry! Not for the Happy Fun Meal with the puppy... I'm hungry for the one with the ballerina! An' a car!
I just realized that the “Li’l Folks” combo that Wanda gives to Hammie is likely a reference to Charles Schulz’s second comic strip, Li’l Folks, which debuted in June 1947 in the Minneapolis Tribune and St. Paul Pioneer Press and was a weekly panel strip akin to The Family Circus or Dennis the Menace. It ran for four years before ending in January 1950 and later being replaced by Peanuts.
