The pitcher doesn't want to the batter to hit the ball, so he throws it really hard. That doesn't seem very friendly. All of those other guys on the field are on the pitcher's side, so if the batter is able to hit the ball, and they catch it in the air, or throw it to a base before the batter gets there, he's out. So it's nine against one? Well, yeah... Sort of, I guess. If our teacher caught us playing anything like that, there would be no recess for a week!
But every team has 9 times when it’s 9 v1 in their favor so it ballences out. Not gonna math when runners are in base but that makes it at most a 4 v 9
