Why do schools and other groups expect the kids to sell overpriced candy, magazines and other such things? And it’s always the parents who get stuck with peddling the stuff at work.
When I was a kid, I lived in the boonies. There was us, my aunt and uncle next door, and a family across the street. That’s it. Mom and Dad weren’t allowed to take candy to work with them to sell, so we’d buy one box of candy during candy-selling time, and that was it. That was all I sold.

Zoe can purchase candy for a whole army and eat it herself.
