I once had a kid jump up and head butt me right in the eye. Sported a shiner for three days because the kid was happy to see me.

When children of a certain height hug their parents, it looks a bit odd.

Three kids is a good number anyway … Wren is aiming to assure there aren’t any more.

It’s Wanda’s diabolical plan to ensure there’d be no more kids by training Wren to head butt her dad in that specific region. I wonder just how she trained Wren?

She’s been hanging around Hammie too much!

The main thing is her joy at seeing him. It makes a little pain worthwhile.

Just making sure she stays as the youngest sibling.

I remember having this problem with my daughters. Now when I come home, I sometimes get a wave or a grunt of acknowledgement. Think I’d prefer the headbutt hellos.

If you get a cat, the head-butt hellos never stop.

Ridiculous. Low brow humor.

Nut-en to it. Wren, Wandas version of birth control, at least for the time being.

But they’re called Test Tickles!

You know, for a comic strip called “Baby Blues” we don’t see the baby often. IIRC Wren was introduced when the other kids were getting older.

And Darryl will always remember the hugs but not the pain.

It’s the same with happy great danes!

Then it’d be bonk instead of mush. Kids need mush for a while when they run into you. It’s okay.

I remember when my kids’ dad had his vasectomy, he was sitting in his recliner, legs slightly apart, when our daughter who was a toddler head butted him there and he said later, “You CAN see stars!”

It Just means your daughter loves you <3

Be grateful for those moments, once she becomes a teenager she won’t greet you.

And hurt that precious little head of hers. How dare you……
