Now today’s strip is one I can’t relate to. Probably because the interstate is sooo boring. When we were raising the kids we would always take the old highways, the ones that go through the small towns, where you get a little change of scenery. We always planned our trips with this in mind. We would stop along the way and see the little sights, such as the largest ball of twine etc. There are a lot of great little cafe’s and restaurants to eat in, parks to let the kids burn off some energy etc.
Google maps takes real time traffic into account. Living in southern California I often turn it on even when I know all the routes so it will adjust accordingly.
My father had very dark hair to his dying day, but my mother’s hair went white suddenly in her 60’s. My hair has gone completely white, some years ago, while my wife’s is still long and dark. Who knows? I have done a lot with electronics, maybe my follicles got shocked…

When traveling with three children, the faster the route, the better (also, makes for more time with the grandparents – so, win-win) !!

My map shows construction. You had a 35 mph limit and a 2 hour delay here.

How ironic. I’m visiting my sisters today in Georgia. They live right off of I 85.
