Ah yes, another Christmas approaches.

When you’re an adult, you can pretty much get whatever you want, unless someone knows you well enough to get something you didn’t think you needed.

The only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys, I am a prime example!

Thus sayest the biggest kid of all.

Orrrrrr, teach your kids to not be greedy and grateful for what they get.

I wonder what Zoe, Hammie and Wren would do with gift boxes filled with enough dollar bills to buy three average toys? I mean, their parents are going to spend the cash anyway, so let the kids go to the after-Christmas sales!

One Christmas my older daughter had asked for a specific doll. Christmas morning arrived, and she & her sister both enjoyed opening their gifts. Later in the morning we asked her if she got everything she wanted. She smiled brightly & said, “No, but I loved everything I got.” That’s when my husband & I remembered the doll; we had bought it but forgot to pull it out of hiding!

He is the likely person paying for it so he should be able to emote.

HUMBUG. Already “THAT” time again? :-(
