Ten months with alternating 30 and 31 days, for a total of 305 days in a year. At the end of each year there are 60 days that don’t belong to any month and don’t have dates. You can use them for your vacation. (It worked for the Romans… well… except for the 60 day vacation part).
The only country in the world with less average paid time off (PTO) than the US (10 days) is Micronesia (9 days). Workers in developed nations get far more PTO than US workers. (1)

I have a pair of cousins that live and work in the USA for German organizations. One for the German ministry of tourism and the other for a high tech division of an auto maker. They get German benefits. Like 6 weeks vacation every year and a 6 week sabbatical every 6 years, 2 weeks at the end of the year for Christmas and New Years’, a week at Easter, fully paid health, dental and vision insurance and other bennies. One thing they don’t get, medical bankruptcy. Another thing they don’t get are communications from work after hours.
For those who missed it (based on a few comments), our year is roughly 52 weeks which is divided into 12 months. By making a year 26 months, each month is now 2 weeks.

It might work as well with 12 1/2 or 13 months instead of 26.

Sounds like big business logic to me.

Yep, these rocks are a clam apiece, BUT they are on sale today for only two rocks for two clams.

That’s like my brother’s company that changed their schedule from 5 – 8 hour days a week to three 16 hour days a week with no overtime.

Is this suggesting there are only 26 people in the world of B. C. ?

12 months, at 30 days is 360 days. That would leave 4 days. SO, once every 8th year, we toss in a whole new month with 32 days. hahaha
Or not.
