When my family moved, we ended up with a huge lot and only three little trees. Fortunately, (or unfortunately) my grandma had extras to share. Now we have this problem every year!
On the fifth panel, there should be three more trees behind their house to be FWOOSH! Make Baldo raking all over the yards and next neighbor yards, too!
Still pushing the lawn mower here. Had to mow today. Dogwood in the front yard is almost bare, but dropped them slowly enough that I haven’t had to rake much, just mulch with the mower. The two Japanese maples in the back haven’t lost many yet. They tend to drop them quickly once they start so, a rake is probably in my future.

Yeah, but funny how when you are hand-raking that li’l bitty postage stamp-sized lot, it turns back to a few dozen acres worthy of a McMansion.

At least Dr Toon has a tree. we have none but we still get loads of leaves.

At least in comics, all the leaves on a given tree fall off at once – FWOOSH! You only have to rake once, rather than every third day…

eh, just mulch ‘em with the good ol lawnmower, forget the rake. that’s what I do - works great.

I prefer the rake to the lawnmower. Uses calories, not gas, and is great aerobic exercise.

Mow the lawn, rake the leaves, shovel the snow, and thenit’s time to mow the lawn again; a kid and his yard work go year-round.
