Notice that there are few pull-up bars now. The early-ed physiological result is that few learn to “rise” in the world through personal effort…think about it. You might “get” it. My contention, personal contentiousness aside…is that more kids would be more ambitious in life…if we had chin-up bars at the playgrounds. Just sayin’. But I mean it.
When I was i kindergarten (1958), the playground was set up on pavement! You don’t see that too much anymore. Also, the toys of the time were about as safe as the playgrounds.
