Tia Carmen: Your Great-Uncle Romero was a boxer. Tia Carmen: Do you know what happened to all eleven men he fought? Baldo: He knocked every single one of them out? Tia Carmen: Very close... Tia Carmen: Every single one of them knocked him out.
Reminds me of an old TV show from my childhood, “Mannix.” Every Saturday night, Mannix got his lights punched out in time for the 30-minute commercial break and station ID (by one report he was kayoed 55 times over the course of the show) before regaining consciousness and wrapping up the case in time for the closing credits. Someone once wrote that he should have been punch-drunk before the second season debuted.
