I find it interesting that Mr. Rod trusts Baldo’s discretion enough to say things like that. It’s not exactly the type of comment you want your whole work force to find out about. (They may figure out for themselves that the only reason Omar keeps his job is nepotism, but it’s much better if the boss doesn’t make it official.)
