Dad: Gracie, if you're starting a news site....you have responsibilities! Dad: Journalism is about facts...untainted by opinion and emotions. Gracie: Headline! Gracie: "new editor has boring dad...click here for more!" tap! tap! tap!
Journalists killed journalism: they find it easy and expedient to consume and regurgitate whatever they see on social media, instead of doing the hard work and actually digging up real content. Whenever an incident (accident, malicious act, etc) happens nowadays, the most circulated reports (in any media) are what the journalists see and read on the social media of the people involved: their FB posts, their tweets, even Instagram and Snapchat. No point blaming a tweeting twit – people consume all that because real source of news has dried up.
Since when, Sergio? The most prestigious prize in journalism and the strongest pejorative you can apply to a slanted journalist both come from the same guy – Joseph Pulitzer is the namesake of the Pulitzer Prize, and the original publisher referenced by the term Yellow Journalism.

Last great journalists who lived by those rules were, Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite. Unfortunately they are dead and gone.
