It ain’t simple, back then washing clothing took all day. and it was really hard work(I watched some farm women in Korea in the 70s washing clothes in a river, then hanging them up to dry, it looked like very hard work and took an entire day

Life was simple for Sergio because he was a child. When you have no responsibilities, life seems less problematic.

My washing machine is my best friend! But I still use the outside (and inside) clothesline. Never want a dryer.
