I remember during the Apollo moon mission, we had 3 puzzles with images of that mission. Neil Armstrong on the moon, the moon itself against the blackness of space and I think one of “Earth-rise”. They were really cool and the images were from Life Magazine. However, with all those BLACK pieces, they were REALLY hard and frustrating to complete! —-Wish I still had them, though.
IIRC there are puzzles where the pieces are all or almost all the same color, or where the pieces are cut so erratic as to make them nie on to impossible to do.

Let’s see do Gracie a 100,000-piece puzzle with the pieces facing up.

I’ve actually done that. Also there was a puzzle with pictures on both sides and you had to figure out which way was up.

Do they still sell all-white puzzles? (I could look it up, but I’d rather let someone else to it.)

All the pieces look the same. It would be easy.

The 3-Dimensional jigsaw puzzles are the ones that fascinate ( and frustrate ) me.

I can’t picture that.

You previous commentators have me beat. I thought a face-up, 2 dimensional 2000 piece puzzle was hard. I guess it was just a matter of perseverance.

I like a 300 piece puzzle with nice scenery. 500 pieces is too many.

Do it facing up on a board, then flip it over and pull the board out! Easy!

I like to do the New York Times Sunday Crossword Puzzles ( I throw away the answers before hand and make sure I never look at them) …
It take a while sometimes but its great to finish one…
