This one broke my heart when I looked at it again… Gracie is a loving person.

We need more of this

looks like Gracie has a generous and thoughtful heart. putting her coat and scarf on the sculptures so that the people living on the street can have them…we need more of that!

Gracie is always full of acts of kindness.

Wish I could like this about a hundred times.

Sweet.

Even if I were homeless and had nothing myself, I wouldn’t just take a coat that I found randomly lying around like that. Who says it was put there to be taken? Maybe someone else who needs it dropped it by mistake and someone put it on the statue for them to come back and find? It’s stealing unless there’s a note there as well indicating that it’s to be taken by anybody. Giving/ helping others out is a great thing, but it should be done in a way that doesn’t encourage immoral actions.

Why is it fall in late March? Are we in the Southern Hemisphere?

I didn’t understand it at first — why put a coat and scarf on a statue? Then I got a good look at the last panel. Lovely thought.

Our library has a hat, mitten and scarf tree free for anyone.

Just showed the strip to husband – he had the same problem I did. Thought there were 3 muddy children standing in a puddle – statutes did not occur to either of us. Then thought the muddy children’s mother and brother came along.
