When my older daughter was a toddler, we lived over a store/butcher shop. The garage had a 1’-4’ sloped driveway about 18" high. Kelly was in her walker, so we brought her to the garage door, pointed her down and gave a push. She loved it! Darned if she didn’t learn to trudge herself up to the top, turn around, push off and lift her legs and squeal “Whee!” on the way down. She’d do that all afternoon; she sure slept good after that!
Kids used to ride everything from “Soap Box Derby” cars to bicycles down that hill as fast as we could go.
Until a bunch of parents got tired of taking their kids to get broken bones set. Then, they dug a Ditch right across the pavement so that we couldn’t do it any more.
It was an old road that no longer really went anywhere, so no one complained. It was so steep, most people didn’t want to drive their cars up it, so they went around on the Flat roads that went to the same place.

Again we see that she’s not very smart.

Don’t forget that you would have to climb back up the hill. Not nearly as much fun.

Be glad you don’t live on a hill. We were never able to ride bikes, scooters, or skateboards because the hills near my house were so steep.

We had a nice steep hill near where I lived.
