Hi there, everybody!
Glad you could make it… if you did.
The site was down for about an hour and a half after the turn…
but now we can get to Randy and Helen’s house….
to have some breakfast and post our comments on
the July 23rd 2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”
Which you can also read now on Sherpa…
http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
I think the site problems must have really set Randy back….
or maybe it started for him even before that.
Just that kind of day…. where not only do you fail at getting ahead, you can’t even keep up with running in place.
They make special shoes for traction on a running track….
and different ones for traction on ice….
But some of us, like Randy… and me….
need some that would give us a little better grip on the day.
If my traction soles could be on sheepskin slippers, so much the better.
Or are the slippers themselves a symbol of the lack?
Cleo seems to lack a different sort of traction….
something to hold her down, and not let her fly away when she throws.
Would that be traction soles, or a rear spoiler?
Of course, if the problem is that she doesn’t let go, she needs an emergency release latch, instead.
If you’re too late for breakfast, it’s OK…
we’ll be sliding into lunch time, with finger sandwiches and coffee…
and if you’re not here and can’t see this, just let me know, OK?
