Sheesh… Where’s your sense of humor, Cleo?
I see…. you must have thrown it out with the bag that sweater came in.
Ha ha.
Luckily, it went in the recycle bin, not the garbage…
we can get it back when we get home and get you undressed.
Hahaha.
Here in Northern California, where everybody shivers at 50°, and wears down jackets at 42°, actual below-freezing temps are popularly regarded as life-threatening… and almost never seen before maybe 11pm.
(You can add 10 or 15 degrees to all those temps in Southern California, where, in defiance of nature, they freeze solid below 40° )
But you still see a few hardy souls of every age defying the local perception of the weather.
I had a young neighbor from Minnesota, transferred here for his job.
His wife and two preschool daughters soon became quite Californian, in their reactions to the cold.
He always wore shorts and tank tops, and drove the family car with the windows rolled down, laughingly ignoring their pleas for heat.
Hi guys!
Glad to see you here already… and to join you in commenting on
