Hi guys… I’m baaaack!
Didja miss me?
Cos… you know… last night I was … not…here….
Oh.
I… um… see.
Anyway…
I’m here now…
And I want to welcome any newcomers to the comments forum for
the wow…. August 5th already? 2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”
The strip is set in Cleveland…. but you read it on Sherpa…
which is where Dennis is sending you in his link.
It’s safe, I promise…. well…. except for the occasional painful joke or excruciating pun….
Just be sure to come back here to discuss it.
And it’s another new one…. she said cautiously….
just in case she’s about to be told otherwise.
(Yes, on occasion, she talks about herself in the third person…)
In California that game is often called Rochambo.
For a fun evening’s entertainment, read about the reason why, on a bunch of language sites and word blogs …
One writer will confidently state as the true derivation, exactly what another thinks is bogus.
I suppose “Rochambo” is unspecific, and doesn’t _ preclude “Rock, table, scissors…”.
And of course, some geeks play “Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.”
What?
Don’t ask me, I’m just reporting it.
Speaking of California…. well… I did, someplace up there….
This is one of the only states where there’s no prohibition on travel in the left lane.
We call it the “fast lane”, as opposed to the “slow lane” on the right.
Signs urge “Slower traffic keep right” … and theoretically you can get a ticket for not moving over if faster traffic wants to pass.
In actual fact, you’d rarely get one if you’re driving at or near the speed limit….
causing accidents and near misses by not letting the rest of us go 5 to 10 miles above it.
Get out of the @#$%! way, Chad!
