Barum…

barum… barum… barum….
Here I come…. sneaking in late… to welcome you to the comments for the
June 12th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”
Which you can find on Sherpa….if you’re brave enough to look.
The first film, or so I’m told, to be called a “blockbuster,” though that hardly seems possible, does it.
Lines wrapped around the block that summer… dogs everywhere, with and without their humans…
To keep out puppies, the theaters were told to say that unaccompanied dogs had to be 14" tall….
which only served to anger the adult chihuahuas and yorkies….
and let in Great Dane and Newfoundland pups, who disrupted the showings by running out yelping in the middle of climactic scenes.
Strangely, Jowls didn’t scare me…. even though I’m a known wuss…
I think it was the fact that, in spite of the millions spent on effects, the basset shark always looked animatronic to me.
Well, except… there was that one chilling moment….
I think the movie has forever changed the way I react if someone starts singing….
“Show me the way to walk home….
I’m tired and I want my doggie bed…
I had a little kibble about an hour ago…… "
YIKES!

and all around me, puppies and children were crying, and grown mastiffs were hiding their eyes.I think it was the fact that, in spite of the millions spent on effects, the basset shark always looked animatronic to me.
