The little Monkeys wanted to be hip and wear origami pants…

But they just can’t get the folds right….and of course, they tear the paper, climbing around like….well…. like monkeys.

It usually means awkwardly hanging on with your legs… or your shins.You don’t shinny up Mount Everest on your feet with a backpack.

To shimmy, OTOH, is to shake. Your car needs work if the wheels shimmy, and “the Shimmy” was a 1920’s hip-shaking dance craze…
