I could have thought that those were just some plaid boxers (my man is partial to those), but I see that he removed not only trousers but some whitey briefs as well! I know many gentlemen who occasionally wear kilts and this Bob is obviously enjoying the freedom of them.
Leave it to a man to want a scratchy woolen tartan! Any woman worth her salt would want fine mulberry silk and the Jig is rather too much like step dancing for my taste (I’m only 1/4 Scottish if that) and I’ve been infused exposed to enough other influence to prefer a Tanantella!
OMG.BRAIN BLEACH………………….uggggg tooooo late………sans underwear???? Please.“DONT LOOK ETHEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”To late. She got the full monty. And my friends say I have sorry looking legs.Next Lord of the Dance (Scottish style) Flatly move over.
My newest SIL is from Glasgow (and still commutes regularly to Chicago) but I don’t think he’s ever brought his kilt over here. My grandpa used to take me to lawn bowling (where they were always worn) and I’ve been to weddings where all the men in ceremony wore them (and their swords too).
Oh Happy Bikini day. July 5, 1946. Viva la female form and freedoms. (To a degree folks, to a degree. I too have lots of photos of Walmart “fashonistas” that folks have sent me. Some in (uggggg) bikinis. Ohhh brain beginning to hurt again thinking about those.)
For those interested. KLUV here in Dallas 98.7FM (On I Heart Radio) playing all 70’s all weekend. They take a different year an hour. Play the top ten for that year then the others raters for that year. Billboard listings. Some of them just make you go woahhhhhh.Right now it’s 1971. Yesterday year 1977 number one Debbie Boone “You Light up my Life”.If you listen enjoy. It does take one back.
I’ve been told (I don’t know if it is true or not) that someone designed a Tartan for Sikhs to wear. It’s apparently rather colourful. Maybe I’ll research it later.
I’m glad that the bouncer was not accepted – not proper kilt and not appealing!
As to whether dance is jig or reel, doesn’t matter. In spite of having a lot of that in my heritage, I never liked that (or the corned beef either). Those Celtic dances are all the same to me and I don’t like tall skinny men (was married to one).
Long before that Irishman from Chicago became " Lord of the Dance ", one of my female cousins from County Armaugh was the Irish champion step dancer and later another cousin, an Irish/American male became U.S. champion as a teenager. While there is a difference between the Irish and Scots dances, the Gaelic/Celtic origins are the same. I doubt that either would have trouble with a four-hand or six hand reel accompanied by a good fiddler.
Of course I can understand Bob zeal. After all it is the weekend. My question is it double experience points on Call of Duty this weekend??I think not but it is the Weekend.Remember Loverboys 1981.
My son has a ‘hiking kilt’ from REI. Get a lot of fun from his kids, and his sisters when he wears it. It has a ’’modesty snap" when hiking up a steep trail.
I see a few non-plaid kilts being worn. They’re probably more comfortable than trousers, but I think it will take a few years before they catch on. They have a lot of pockets, so you won’t need to wear a sporran.

Send him to the light house. With those white legs he can guide the ships while I change the bulb.

Scots don’t jig. That’s Irish. They reel. Not necessarily from the single malt.

Don’t know what is shown in that bottle (looks like soy sauce). I liked Old Spice until my X started dumping it on by big handfuls – HORRID!
I love the natural smell of the man I love; nothing better than natural pheromones of a clean body.
