I’m fine doing all kinds of things, but not THAT. . . I draw the line when it comes to things that can break bones.

And I was not aware that this year is Thanksgivukkah, but a happy one to all in any case. I’ll go for just about any poison too but as I was discussing in the dentist’s chair this week, only poisons that TASTE GOOD (no medications).

And even after February I will drink with a little more moderation (even tho’ I COULD drink every evening without ill effects doesn’t mean I SHOULD). We’ll see then I need a good man to keep me under control LOL!

I just went up to start making breakfast and as I ran around measuring my pasta and garlic etc. I started whistling (and dancing to) the Timewarp (still in Halloween mode – I watched most of RHPS) but those of you who live in places that still do that nonsense will be changing your clocks, but I live in a timewarp ;-D

Those of us who learned to ride a two wheeler without helmets, knee and elbow pads etc, had a pillow tied on our butts. I did, and somewhere deep in a box is a pic of me with said pillow.

Back when I first got a bike, I learned to ride pretty easily (and yes, we used no helmets or football pads) In 4th grade I remember playing at who could go the longest down the street hands free. I also remember as a young mom riding my bike in snow ruts (from car tires) in the snow. Since it was not a matter of WHETHER but WHEN I would fall, I dressed in good padded layers. I sewed all my own clothes in those days, so the “pillow” was quilting in the coat lining and thick pants. I even did groceries for our family of 6 using large baskets over the rear tire and the front (2 or 3 trips per week). Nothing will ever stop me from doing what I set out for.

WOAH! I was gone for a while and my PC froze up but I got to wear my cowgirl getup and chat with a lot of the venders and performers up in Cave Creek. Many admired my boots and did not know that I had bought them white. I AM proud that I did such a good design on all 4 sides of the Phoenix Bird (Symbol of the City) and Sunrise (Symbol of the State) all in 2 shades of red outlined in raised black. I bought another sparkly white leather belt with a big rhinestone buckle and have my eye on an even pricier red leather one ($340) but I spent enough for this month. I only allow myself a certain bit for vanities. Got to keep my bank account in check.

Just wish Our Gvm’t could do the sameMunky – watch out with that gun! I know they’re blanks but I asked one of the performers today why she was removing the cartridges from her gun before putting back in her holster and she explained that people can be seriously hurt, even killed using blanks improperly. Since I have never dealt with blanks, I had no idea.

    Bev…. I know, I know….

Fenton’s been working on it during his shift….even Antonio in the daytime, though the night shift isn’t his responsibility. The Monkey is gone a lot, even ordinarily…. and we have no problem. The little monkeys are very responsible; they just… well.. overreach a bit, wanting to do everything Fenton and the ireman can do.But they don’t use alcohol…. and I suspect maybe somebody thought it would be funny to give them some litle can of beer in their trick or treat bags.

Bev…. Just went to DH…. a question better answered here, since they already think I’m crazy there….

OK, yeah, here too…but it’s acceptable here, where we know what is real and what is just craziness…um…. right?

Anyway…. I love yak meat but yaks aren’t “game” per se.

At least what we get at the Tiki…. or buy from the Monkey for home use….

We used to get some wild yak…but for conservation reasons, and for quality and tenderness (remember the tainted yak meat scandal of early 2012?)…

the Monkey now contracts with small yak ranches, high in the snowy mountains of Turdmunkestan….

where they lovingly raise our yaks for consumption, making it domestic meat, like beef.

    That’s why I didn’t include it.

I don’t think I’ll try any exotic meat right away when I’m done with this year, but one of the western vendors today was talking about goat meat that he (or friends) raise for sale. I did not pay too much attention because I’ve quite a few months before any of those foods or drinks I did have goat at least once in Mexico in the old days when I was down there often trouble shooting all the HVAC and exhaust problems at the many plants in at least 4 cities.

Time for bed- and I’ll shut IE Goodnight all!

I must admit I don’t usually worry about cats so much, considering they have nine lives and all, although I know of a Siamese cat who got a dislocated shoulder jumping from the top of a refrigerator, and Mua was badly bruised falling off my bed only because his claw caught on the spread so he couldn’t land on his feet. He really limped after that fall.

Yes, don’t like to think of any really bad results (but then no one would post it – RIGHT?No, I know some have no consideration for the pain of a friend or relative (and who knows- may think they deserved it). I enjoy many types of GIFs (most involve no pain).
