I would say Elliot was taking a stand against consumerism…except I don’t think he’ll be able to stand when he’s finished with “dinner.”

The night-crawlers are high in protein, thinks Elliot.

My goodness, Stel,You really out did yourself! I LOVE the exterior and entrance views too, and the inside view is good and clear. I recognize everybody!

Poor Elliot is all by himself, though – you should have Mabel there entertaining him with some kind of dance (maybe like Susan is doing).

I still eat many vegetarian meals, but I roasted a turkey breast this week and ate 1/2# of roast beef in sandwiches (3 separate meals). It’s good to be an omnivore again. I made a big pot of my Cuban black beans yesterday, but I won’t have any until I come back on Sunday. I’m headed to the boyfriend’s house today as every Saturday (except when he’s here).

One of my FB friends posted a photo with his face in a pine tree and had to explain to all of us that he lines the smell of Ponderosa bark, like vanilla- I have yet to try it.

Does it count when the land comes in paper wrappers?

And usually, Elliot needs a dose of Imodium the morning after one of these little outings.

What’s the little rectangle on the ground in front of Elliot? Looks like a door hinge. Or an outlet. Maybe there’s a trap door to his underground lair. Or maybe he sometimes cooks out.
