On the weekend, it always seems… I dunno… like Ballard Street doesn’t go anyplace,
I feel like I end up on Sunday night right where I started on Saturday morning.
Now that I travel in Elvis, it doesn’t other me, personally, quite so much that the #67 Ballard St bus doesn’t run, but between that and the street closing, I think some visitors just give up.
It hurts business in the hotels and restaurants…I know Antonio told me the Tiki was slow all afternoon.
I can’t wait till Jerry decides to OK the City Council proposal to open it to Sunday traffic. He sure has a lot of power in Ballard County…. Maybe we need to throw ourselves on HIS mercy. Anybody know where his office is?
Good morning all. As I forgot to bring home my new square dance outfit (I’ll do that next Saturday/Sunday) and I finished with breakfast and my vitamins (and straightening out my “set and save” order for more vitamins)I have to make alterations to my current square dance outfit (shorten the skirt to the popular length at least) because we have practice tomorrow again (3rd one for me).
That cartoon looks like the last time I had to stand before the man to explain why I led the area in Drunk Driver arrests but lacked enforcing seat belt arrest numbers. So I learned just to go ahead and admit I did not meet expectations and will do better next time….no further explanation needed. Covers all bases…….and please don’t make the bunny cry…(sniff)
@Essex, so Bev likes to dance that much? That woman has danced most of her life; I think my boyfriend would agree that I’m just as agile, but dancing is not my forte. I enjoy dancing, but would need years of practice to do the same steps the way that 79 YO and her teacher did. (Not saying I might not try- but the boyfriend is only into square dance, so that’s good enough on the dance floor).
I’m just happy he got matching outfits for us and plans more (and I may make some for myself to match some of his existing shirts sometime soon; his ex kept all of hers).
No, no, this was for trying turning down Putin’s quadrillion dollar loan. For Crimean out loud Bixby! Do you want him on our bad side?(Well, yes, but….)

Bixby threw himself into the Grand Canyon once. He has a “throw-away” personality.

I’d love to have a pet like that. He is beautiful. But it is rare to have a tame fox.

Essex! Is that true? White guys need beer to dance? Also to talk or laugh, from what I’ve seen.
