Bev…. last night I fell asleep planning the menu for the Tiki Mother’s Day brunch…. so I never finished, and they were scrambling to get ready.(ho ho)
I was just trying to do it as a favor for the day crew… we’re a little short cos the Monkey took a couple of peopl ..er… a few of the staff…. with him to sub as roadies…
So I was happy that you had a brunch at your place. Thanks.
I dunno, Bev… I tried it, and got the same result as you, I think…I’ve looked at it a bit…. found two or three to which I couldn’t reply… and they were the ones with broken image links in the reply box.
Right-clicking that link, I found that the URLs for the pictures they represented had also been changed…though the pics in other comments didn’t show in the reply box at all anyway.I don’t know a whole lot about it…. but I’ll play with it some more… maybe not tonight …. but who knows….
It makes sense that if a comment starts with an image, part of the image code is “grabbed” in the reply comment, which would create a partial, therefore broken, image link in your reply, instead of a bit of quoted text….
But I don’t know why that would prevent the reply from being submitted….
Or why it doesn’t happen on ALL comments that begin with static images…e.g, the reply function works fine on a few of them, such as Wet’s post with the toilet, just before the watermelon one.
But it’s almost 3 in the morning at my end of Ballard County…. can’t think about it for a while….
Now we know how he hits the HIGH notes. Now imagine the five year old turning around in the elevator to avoid the butt crack to be faced with…..the camel toe.
I don’t know about the other sites (I only joined one when I was looking) but mine had all kinds of tests (additional information in various categories) that I insisted the ones I chatted with also fill out (to know more). Some of those actually gave a personality profile and compatibility based on their and my own answers (it definitely helped to narrow the field). Naturally, I hope never to go there again because I’m very happy with my choice.
I’m even thinking of moving to that area (although partly to join all the clubs- I did not realize they have lapidary, silver-smithing etc. as well as the dancing, but only for residents. My kids are surprised because I fixed this so nicely:<img src=‘https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8380/8590824143_5000fb40cf_z_d.jpg’width=’350’>

For a second I thought the caption would read, “Scooter explains various aspects of the bone.”

Scooter used to hoard those tiny bones…. but he doesn’t feel like he needs them any more…
Not since the Tiki opened a couple of years ago, and his “folks” started bringing home doggy bags…
