Thurber is headed for his regular spot…. in front of the back room fireplace, off a bit to the right of Fenton’s break cushion, which all the other dogs know not to use.

We stock several brands of beer for dogs… He’ll probably have a bottle of his favorite…Bowser Beer.

It’s our favorite at the Tiki, too, because Fention’s 2nd cousin Rufus, an up-and-coming spokesdog/model, is pictured on the label.

Thurber always wanted to take a walk on the wild side, This is as wild as it gets in Ballard County.

We’ve got 1 hour until the Tiki closes for polling day. ’Nanner Daks are on me for the next 15 minutes. Hey! No pushing!

I’m a “precinct officer” for elections…a sixteen hour day Tuesday, and my alarm is set for 5 hours from now…

Nice thing about voting in Oregon.I did mine several days ago.We mail ours in.

The pubs / bars in the UK are open on polling days. In Thailand, they are closed but there are places where you can grab a drink.

I think it is a good idea to ban alcohol on election day, except that we usually watch election results from the pub, so that would be a bummer for the owner if he/she couldn’t sell alcohol to a pub full of disgruntled or elated voters.

I preferred not to step out to a pub today in any case (maybe tomorrow – trying to meet any interesting online profiles). I got out after a full exercise routine today, went to the polls and then to my Sprouts for a lot of stuff. Of beers, I bought another Full Sail Amber Ale and a BaBa (black ale- way to hoppy for my taste – fortunately just a 6 pack on sale).
