I had a great day, drove up to Huntington Beach and had lunch with a friend I’ve had since we were 10! So Cal freeways are scary! 6 lanes and everyone going 80 (at least). We’ve got 3 more days left before we head home. I’m gonna spend it staring at the Ocean!

Todd should give lessons in driving down here," Rules were made to be broken" is apparently written on everyone’s Driver’s license!

Maple Avenue used to be so quiet before Todd and Elyse moved there.

I used to take Maple to get from Orchard Dr to Ballard St…. but now I’d rather not…. even if I have to drive down the Cherry St hill.

What with Todd’s back-up lessons on Tuesdays, the operatic voice lessons Elyse gives on Thursdays, the Ballard Banshees Horror Video Club meetings in their living room on Friday nights…and of course, their knife-throwing demos on Saturdays….

Gosh…. besides the metallic crash noises, there’s always some sort of loud screeching and screaming going on.

And I really don’t need to drive past anything like what I saw last Wednesday…. ever again.

Meanwhile … you know, I’ve been backing up too.But not on Maple Avenue…on Google Drive.

It’s quiet, there’s plenty of room…and so far, it’s been safe.No screeching or screaming.

Bev… is that a mechanical chicken?

Hope you’re having a good time in Texmonkus, Monkey…and don’t worry about the Tiki….

It was only a teeny fire…. and the little monkeys put it right out.

So, good night, all…. and good morning early risers! Sorry I missed you….

And hello back at you, IamMudd.

I sometimes have a little trouble sleeping when a full moon is as bright as the current one. I try to back up as little as possible. When you’re as short as I (just 5’) it’s difficult to see completely in back (sometimes front, too). My seat is not THAT adjustable.

On Wednesdays, Todd gets the landscapers in to get ready for the next week. Friends of Trees society threatened to hug Todd’s tree, to save it, but realized it would be suicidal.
