I hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day, daughter and I spent and hour or so, picking up our glasses at Lens Crafters and then she had to get back to clean, cause her stepdaughter is coming to visit today (Monday) and SIL has a cold. I got to see Grandoggie and got lots of kisses. Husband and I went to our local Thai place (Ginger Pop) for Tofu fries and Pad Thai and Pork Salad Rolls. A good day.And yes, son finally called!

Of course, “best” beer is pretty subjective….and this is sort of like a “best in show” thing….They won in their categories and then the category winners competed.

I’d like to have tried the winner of one of the darker brew categories…dunno what they had..but maybe dark beers, stouts, or porters.

Rudy needs an agent. 25¢ is awfully little for one of his sketches…

I mean, I know it isn’t framed or anything…but I think he could get at least $1.72.

And he needs to get enough for his oil portraits to cover the paint…right now he charges 75¢, but he stopped doing them, cos he can only do 11 with a $12.99 set from Doggies and Dabblers.

Not to brag but… Susan’s doing my nails at 4:27 today. Her new “Best of Ballard Street Doggies.” I can’t wait! Susan, you are a genius.I’ll have one of each of those beers, beviek, while I’m waiting for my appointment.
