It’s a heart-cooling story.
Must be about an Utopia where there are no tele-marketers.
Maybe, “No One ever Calls Twice”? Or “800 Always Calls at Dinner Time.”
Looks like more pages than necessary in the book. Also see if the ringer on the ’phone is turned on.
I’d like to meet that person and ask how he does it.
No one ever calls Devon.
He never stops talking about himself!
And it’s all about how he’s been wronged.
The latest harangue was about the Ballard Garden and Duck Hunting Club never inviting him on a duck hunt.
Who wants to sit for 5 hours in a duck blind with that sourpuss?
It’s a self-help book on how to block marketing calls.
That book does have a happy ending, though. “The End.”
That’s because you never give out your number.
“Everybody hurts…”
A text about texting?
Shouldn’t he be sitting by the phone while he reads that?
Don’t despair Downer Devon! Dial Don Dinkle. (Dandy Don does digress during discussions)…
Talk about double downer. Just saw Paddleton and Roma. I’ve seen better film on teeth and my GF never gets to pick another movie ever!…
I felt this way after reading THE ROAD by Cormac McCarthy and I haven’t picked up another of his books since. I love his writing but that book horrified me and left me with the feeling there is no hope for our species. Took me a while to recover.
A new comic on Sunday ?
Cool!

But.. you are never alone in bed when you have a book..
Devon never did find out his phone was unplugged…
Is it Sunday yet?
