Well, the cheesecloth still had cheese in it… but thank goodness Ernie’s boxers were vetoed at the last moment.

I’ve done that. It survived one cup, but by two it was spewing coffee grounds into the pot.

But, it’s when she watches TV by candle light that she really gets into the pioneer spirit.

A paper towel in a stainless steel strainer works well for straining out food bits left in cooking oil that has been used in frying something so it can be reused to fry something else.

Nancy has a lot to learn about being a pioneer. Pioneers boil their coffee without filters. And paper towels weren’t invented. Get with the program, Nancy!
