As they get older, the exploration adventures multiply, even in their own neighborhood.

Edna is in the kitchen to make sure they don’t explore the cake she baked for the annual Ballard St. Little Theater and squirrel infirmary bake sale.

In the 60’s there was a man came into the restaurant, sat at the counter every afternoon. Had lots of pencils & pens in his pocket and drew lines on papers with straight edge and triangle. Everyone said he was some kind of engineer. One day I walked up and asked him what he was doing. “Plotting the saucer landings for tonight” he said. Lots of lines between dots on plain paper, nothing else. Nice talking to ya! Bye. Probably moved to Ballard by now!

The trio lead busy lives: Explorers Club on Saturdays, Pinochle ‘n’ Piñata Night on Sunday, Ottoman Crafts & Casserole Potluck on Mondays…

Edna, Lucille and Marie are having Margaritas down at the Tiki, knowing full well that the boys will be travalin’ for most of the evening. So will they…..

Looks to me as if Todd is exploring that cute, young Miss Palooza’s bedroom window. Sheriff!

The thing they like most about their club is the great hats they get to wear to all the meetings.

Arthur seems to be plotting their course for the evening.

They’ve already been exploring down at the old “Stagger Inn”. (More like “Stagger out”…)

They look hopelessly lost.

Whatever he zoomed in on, he ha no intention of sharing………

Then it’s definitely time to splice the mainbrace, but this time let’s do doubles.

Before club meetings, Arthur, Todd, and Stephen like to visit the Lewis and Clark pharmacy.

It looks like they have the navy and army there. Exploring land and sea.
