Ted is a wise man.

Better yet, Ted, turn around and go the other way, Once Bob “the Boxing Glove” Finklrstein gets going there’s no telling just how far he will get before Scooter manages to bring him to heel.

Ted is a man who understands the importance of paying attention. It’s like driving: Be aware of your surroundings.

Just look up to make certain nothing is falling.

Better still, don’t leave home. I only go out at 1AM, the weird ones are asleep then, except Mr. Heckleburn, who thinks he is a Vampire. Come to think of it, nobody has ever seen him in daylight. Hmmmm?

It is the main subject of a recent series of “Ted Wainwright Speaks” lecture and poetry series at The Ballard Street Limerick Society, held the first Tuesday of each month in the Arm & Legg Tavern, where each participant freely gathers fans and idle listeners alike.
