I've already read about the untimely death of Bob Walker. Woman: Yes, it;s sad... Bob was a good and decent gentleman. Delores: Mmm... It seems like his sister 'gets around' just fine, though. Woman: Oh, are all the boys braggin; on me again?
Not much call for the NYT in places like Barkeater. They probably sold their one copy. When we lived in rural MO, we learned to live on local news and the hog futures (much the same thing).
