Gene and Dan didn’t warn David that they were introducing a new character, so he had to recycle an old one to make deadline.

Looks like some kind of Dr. Seuss creation!

Not “some kind”, Kivana, it’s a specific Dr. Seuss creation. That’s the Lorax, and he speaks for the trees.

Panel three is the first indication we’ve had that Dr. Mollenhoff’s assistant CAN stand up straight if she wants to.

Then again, it IS only a dream…

(Hmmmm…. A hunchbacked lab assistant to a doctor with a German name. Igor? Are you cross-dressing now?)
