Carefull Wild Turkeys are pretty feisty.

During the Blizzard of 1888, many Manhattanites feasted on pigeons killed by the storm.

Squab not good enough for you?

Come to my house. There’s lots of them running around.

That would work in my neighborhood. I saw 30 wild turkeys on my walk yesterday.

I just had the neighborhood flock of wild turkeys in my yard yesterday, they stop by occasionally to clean up spilled seed under my bird feeders. I suggested to my wife that we should invite one in for supper, but she reminded me of her turkey allergy, and that I would be the only one partaking.

Going to have to settle for squab. BTW – the Rock Dove, AKA “Park Pigeon”. “Winged Rat”, etc., was originally brought to America as poultry.

Pigeons are basically flying rats.

We can’t all be Nat E. Dredd.

I had a load of trash that I tried to take to the dump this morning. Unfortunately, just like Arlo sang, it was “closed on Thanksgiving”

Go for the pigeon.
