They could not trip it with a rope. They would need something stronger like a cable.
Those ATAT’s are tough, but there is a juncture between the “head” and torso" that is vulnerable to blaster fire. Also they are too narrow so the specific gravity is high on them.
‘Specific gravity’ is a density measure. Are you thinking of the center of mass/gravity being high?
For being so advanced, they weren’t very smart.
