Good Morning Lonewolf, Gweedo, Grog and all the Sports Fans Out There
The football cut would be standing behind a locked gate.
Come on guys! It’s simple: 40% for players, 40% for owners, & 20% for expenses (everything not player salaries) If 20% isn’t spent on expenses, the remainder goes into a fund so that when they want a new stadium, they can build it themselves. All rookies get a three year contract making no more than $1 million a year total (salary & bonuses). Then they are a restricted free agent. You can franchise a player only once and if a player has a contract (with more than 1 year remaining) and holds out, he must repay his whole signing bonus plus 20%.
Actually, the faux-hawk is today’s soccer cut. Very few people in soccer have a pony tail (I think I could name maybe 4 out of hundreds). It’s usually a fade, a fro, bald, balding, a faux-hawk, or a Beatles or clean cut, for soccer. But the faux-hawk is the new universal “cool” cut in soccer right now.
Actually, there’s more long hair/pony tails in American football than in the whole of major soccer around the world. At least I can think of far more.

Nice try, pamlicorat, but trying to inject reason or fairness into the greed fest that is pro sports is a doomed undertaking.

Have you noticed that all cowboys wear baseball caps now? They don’t want to be confused with truck drivers.
