Labor/Labour Day parties probably get more good results with less planning and ‘negotiating’ than anything ever thought of in D.C. And all of it based on a practical approach to budgeting.
With our new Common Core standard of teaching here in the states, our children can no longer read cursive/script, add or subtract, spell or read & are anti-social. They can however text entire sentences using only 3-4 letters… maybe that is progress.
Those are some really magical stone slabs. First they don’t sink and they get where they’re going better than the U.S. mail, second they find some one who speaks and reads the same language.

In Aus. we spell labour the British way … but our political party is spelled “Labor”.

There is nothing to party about in the U.S. political system.
