I always thought the turkey was one of the most amusing characters. I still have fond memories of the one Thanksgiving special staring him. I also have a button with him on it that says: “Any turkey for President.” Frankly, I wish a turkey would run for the office.

Every Thanksgiving it’s always the same thing: gallows humor over turkeys floods the newspaper comics. It’s just lame.
