I’ll never forget the day my ex came home from the doctor’s & complained in outrage: “That doctor stuck his finger up my @$$!” My reply: “So?” Cue more outrage at my lack of sympathy, but that’s nothing when you’ve been going for annual gyne exams ever since you turned 18!
In my life history, I’ve had two female doctors. I joked with them about how good it was for me that they had narrower fingers than male doctors as we prepared for the exam. One of them quipped, “The same is true for dentists.” I responded, “Thanks, I have a checkup next week. I hope I can forget this by then!
my GP says that just using the PSA test is enough. Studies showed that the cancer usually started in the part of the prostate not visible or reachable. Fine by me.BUT- – all my blood work always showed up as Good to Great and guess what- Quintuple bypass, only symptom was a shortness of breath on occasion, otherwise felt great

Never go to a barber, dentist, or proctologist who’s in a bad mood.

How did that old joke go?
“Especially if he has both hands on your shoulders during the “examination.”

You go to a two-man barber’s and one barber has immaculate hair and the other has hair that’s a mess… Which do you choose to do your hair and why?

I had a doctor in my Air National Guard unit that had telephone fingers. Ugh!

It may “feel” like a finger during a prostate exam, but ALWAYS double-check. You NEVER know!

If you have a PSA result of < 1.0, you can probably safely forego the digital prostate exam.

When I had my first prostate exam 15 years ago I told my doctor I wanted him to use two fingers so I could have a second opinion. He laughed…..

I started going to a female physician specifically because she had small(er) hands.
