When my daughter and 7-month old grandson came to live with us while our son-in-law was in Afghanistan we used to judge how much he liked dinner by how much was spread over his body. Bigger area covered meant he was very enthusiastic about the meal. We never figured out how a little kid in a high chair managed to get spaghetti sauce on his back.
