Well, now we know how civilization started. Poor hunters became foragers and that lead to farming which lead to fences which lead to walls which lead to graffiti. Soooo, here we are.
Just think of the differences. Foraging for berries: pick the berry, eat the berry. Hunting animals: gotta cut a strong tree limb, sharpen it, find an animal, hunt and kill an animal, drag it back to the cave, skin and cut it up, cook it. Dang that’s a lot of work!
You know, if we took some of these berries, planted them, and nurtured them so that more of them grew to full size, we could do more foraging and less hunting.
And thus, we began the road to computers, going to the moon, nuclear bombs…

What is his intention with carrying a spear? Lining up the berries on it to carry them into his cave?

Mankind learned to hunt by observing animal behavior. Mankind also learned to vary their diet the same way.

Panel 2. If a tree falls in the forage, will the deer be able to relax around him?

When I return home from grocery shopping, my dog thinks I am a great hunter and deserve much respect. Cats just want the paper bags to play in.

Why hunt when you can forage berries? Unless you aren’t getting enough protein. Then forage for beans and rice
