That’s the problem with totally retiring. You DO get rather bored and don’t want to do anything but watch TV and sleep. It would be good if experienced workers could be used in a part time capacity past the retirement age.
The man I love has his own business, so his “boss will never get rid of him”. He no longer bothers to advertise because his regular customers (and their children or those who have bought their house) continue to give him more work than he needs. He knows the business and is prompt and never overcharges or sells something they don’t need. He can work as long as he can walk.

And it’s a never-ending cycle… the more you lie around, the more “tired” you are. Similarly, the more active you are, the more energy you have!
