Yep, I am with Liv on this one. No more camping, unless it’s glamping.

This by definition is not roughing it by my wife’s standards. Her idea of roughing it is no internet.

My wife and I went camping once, In the morning she said "Don’t bother making breakfast, we’re off to the nearest hotel for breakfast. Kind of cheats a bit.

Let’s see if he makes it through the night before the call of the A/C gets him.

I went to a Girl Scout camp which involved actual camping for 2 weeks. It was not a good idea for me to have gone as I did not do well with regular day camp. (I was young when I went to day camp and I learned to spell “pool” as I did not want to go in same and my mom told me I could not say the word again so I would say “I don’t want to go in the p -o -o-l”. )

I wrote home every day asking then to come and get me – even wrote to my kid sister asking her to tell my parents to come and get me.

Husband went camping once as a boy scout – he liked it even less.

But – after we had bed bugs we bought a small RV (Class B/camper van) to stay in. We do not CAMP, we just use it as hotel room alternative. Meals at restaurants, seeing the sights, taking him shopping, etc. We come back late at night to the campground and hook up for the night, next morning put away the electric lines and water hose and go back out for the day.
