If Ben were to do a search for “Natural weed killer”, he would find something both he and his dog can feel good about. (Vinegar, salt and dish soap seems to work wonders. Way less expensive too.)

    “Maybe you could spray them.”

    [“Yipe! Yipe! Yipe!”]

    (Sounded too much like “Spay”…)

Yes, I know Max is male, but that just gets in the way of the joke… ☺

We had a neighbor who fed their dog some supplement that made the grass super green wherever she went #1. Like, almost neon green. Their yard looked like it was intentionally polka dotted, especially during dry spells when the bulk of the grass went dormant.

They’ll still be there, but then they’ll have pee on them.

Who says you’re not allowed to spray? Just do it at night. Tell the environmentalists where to go.

Dandelions are edible. Don’t waste them.

Dandelions are excellent for the soil and yard. They have deep roots and help provide natural nutrients for the other plants.

Vinegar with water or salt water, safe for the environment and cheap. Not as effective as chemical sprays, though.

Don’t know about dandelions, but we did have get rid of poison ivy and while not garden related – bed bugs. (Bed bugs the worst thing in the world, one’s entire life changes after spending that huge amount of money to get rid of them and wanting to be sure to never to get them again – hence why we travel in a little Class B van RV instead of staying in hotels and no longer go to anyone’s home.)
