-I was making some progress on the cultural front- my husband actually ordered something other than steak recently- -So when I saw my opening, I took it and got not only me husband, but our son and my husband's brother to go to the opera with me -What happened? -I gambled it all and lost- they stayed awake for the whole thing and I fell asleep -Ouch! -And what's worse, they enjoyed it- my husband wants to subscribe for the rest of the season -Wow! Hubris, a fall from grace, and an ironic reversal of fortune - you shouldn't be going to operas, you should be writing them
