    There are no unlimited highways in Italy, although speeding is not that uncommon. Only autobahns in Germany have no speed limits.

    100km in 45 mins is 82-83mph, if my math skills aren’t too rusty. I can’t really blame her. I start to get a bit nervous at about that speed, in a familiar car and country.

    As ALESSANDRO WALTER said there is a speed limit on Italian highways. However, to Italians it is a matter of pride to consider the speed limit as the lower speed allowed.
