Many home projects take a long time, but I took an old wire shelf, some chain, hooks, etc. and made a pot rack in less than three hours. Having a beam over the kitchen island made it easy to suspend. Looks great and made space in the cupboards for the gadgets my wife likes to buy.
I’ve been paring down things throughout my entire house the past couple years. The older I get, the less clutter I want. Got better things to do than dust it, clean it, put it away, hang it up, etc. Getting ready to make another pass thru my kitchen. I could make do with a tiny house if I didn’t have a husband who is so messy. The man doesn’t have a tidy bone in his body.
