There is a principle going back to the days of paper inboxes. At the end of the day, answer anything you absolutely have to and toss everything else out. If it’s important, they’ll send it again; if not, don’t worry. And I still use paper lists.
I use a Franklin Planner myself to do all scheduling and To Dos. Now that does not mean, of course, I actually DO the things on that list; but at least my optimism is in full swing
Email I only check once a day and that is in the evening, so it wouldn’t be good to email a To Do list to me.
There is nothing in this world that requires me to answer email immediately, and I view most text messages and phone calls the same way. I will get back to you tomorrow.

My wife gets more emails a day than I get in a month. Last time I noticed, she had over 5000 unread ones.

There is usually a list app on smart phones. I make my list on my note section of phone.
